 Travel Nursing Packing List 

Moving every 12 weeks can be tricky! We know how important it is to make your new environment feel comfortable and familiar, even if it’s temporary. Nurse travel assignments are exciting, but sometimes, you just need to sit down with your favorite mug huddled in your worn-in sweatshirt and turn on your go-to comfort show. We’ve got you covered with our stellar packing list. Let's make your new home feel like home and prepare you for any new adventure!


Work

  • 5 - 7 sets of scrubs (we love Lago & ​​ Born-O-Uniform)

  • 10 pairs of undergarments 

  • 10 pairs of socks (we love bombas)

  • Stethoscope

  • Nursing Bag

    • Clipboard

    • Planner (we love Everyday Nurse Planner)

    • Reference pocketbooks or cheatsheets 

    • Lysol wipes

    • Hand cream 

  • Shoes (we love Stand+

  • Waterbottle (who else is obsessed with Stanleys?)

Adventure

This might depend on where your travel assignment is! Are you headed to sunny beaches? The ski slopes? Maybe somewhere in between?

  • Swimwear, flip flops/sandals, sun-hat

  • Shorts, t-shirts/tanks, sundress

  • Sunglasses 

  • Snowpants, boots, gloves, hat & ski jacket 

  • Hiking & work-out fits + hiking boots, running/athletic shoes

  • Raincoat & rubber boots & umbrella

  • Baseball cap

  • Little Black Dress (you never know when an LBD will come in handy!) 

Leisure

  • Books or Nook – Imagine reading poolside or next to the fireplace! 

  • Alarm clock (we love the Hatch Restore

  • Journal – Don’t forget to write about your experiences and reflect on your personal growth!

Personal Comforts
